Chris Schuchart graduated in 1974 from Medina Valley High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree (1978) and a Masters in Business Administration (1980) from Texas A&M University.
He then gained 15 years of experience working in the corporate world for public companies, Xerox Corporation and American Physicians Services.
Chris made a career change in 1994 and attended St. Mary’s University Law School in San Antonio and in 1997, at the age of 40 years, began practicing law in Medina County.
He became county judge for Medina County on January 1, 2015.
Bob Cohen is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer and a shareholder of commZoom Communications, LLC. Cohen joined the company in its planning phase in April of 2014.
Before launching commZoom, Cohen was President of Bob Cohen Strategies, LLC.
Bob is a shareholder and board member of SB Nation Sports Radio Network (formerly Yahoo! Sports Radio Network), a national sports radio network with 500 affiliates nationwide and a member of the advisory board of Kiolbassa Provision Company.
Aaron Padilla is Vice President of Commercial Lending for Community National Bank.
Aaron relocated to the Greater Medina County area in 2018 from San Angelo, TX. He graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Angelo State University and completed the Texas Tech School of Banking program.
In addition to his Treasurer responsibilities for Go Medina he is also a Director for the Castroville Area Chamber of Commerce. Outside of his banking and civic duties Aaron can be found alongside his wife watching their sons in local sporting events. Aaron looks forward to serving Medina county and an opportunity to meet you!
Ruben Gonzalez serves both as an Alderman for the City of Lytle and Veteran Service Officer in Medina County.
Ruben is a decorated combat veteran with 30 years of exceptional meritorious service. He has had the opportunity to serve in numerous positions both in the United States and overseas. Prior to his current positions, he served as the Vice President for Economic Development in the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
Ruben received his Bachelors of Science in Management from Park University in Missouri and has attended numerous senior Air Force development programs at the University of Virginia, University of Tennessee and National Defense University in Washington, D.C. In addition, he has earned his Professional Manager’s Certification and Occupational Instructor Certification.
